Contents page flat plan




My ideas behind this contents page was to put it into sections as Q magazine often does. I really loved this idea because I thought that this would allow my contents page to be easily accessible. But yet again, I do believe that the way I have positioned my boxes is slightly unconventional and this is something I believe that I will alter when I come to creating my draft magazine.

What institution would publish my magazine? An international publishing company that would publish my magazine would be Bauer Media as the group is a worldwide media 'empire' offering over 300 magazines in 15 countries. Bauer Media also own  Q magazine and they would be a good company to get to publish my magazine as they have renowned music magazines (Q and Kerrang which both have great reputations). Due to the fact that this company is worldwide this would let me distribute my magazine across the globe-building a demand.

PHOTOGRAPHER Annie Leibovitz- Rolling Stones Is the photographer for the magazine Rolling Stone  She worked for the magazine until 1983, and her intimate photographs of celebrities helped define the Rolling Stone look. She became aware of the other magazines and learned that she could work for magazines yet still create personal work, which she found important. Leibovitz is much influenced by Richard Avedon , and his 'personal reportage'. Examples of her work PHOTOGRAPHER Andy Hughes- NME Is an award winning professional  photographer and helps NME advertise their magazine. Having an experience photographer within NME's magazine helps the magazine gain interest an will develop their marketing- also creating there magazine to appear visually appealing. Note to the examiner

Dear Examiner , Throughout the course of creating my alternative magazine and using blogger I have learnt that evaluating, research and planning carry a great importance in this process.
